What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a skin treatment that uses very fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the surface of the skin. It is used to stimulate the skin's own collagen response, and is chosen for concerns with tone, texture and fine lines rather than volume.
It is one of the most approachable treatments on the RevIVe Your Look menu, and often a good starting point for people who want to improve their skin without injectables.

Who it's suited to
People often ask about microneedling when their skin tone looks uneven, texture has become rougher, or fine lines are starting to show. It is not suitable for everyone — certain skin conditions, active breakouts or recent treatments may mean waiting or choosing something else.
That is why every plan starts with a consultation. Raquel will look at your skin in person, go through your medical history and skincare, and give you an honest recommendation — including when a different treatment would serve you better. Treatments are for over-18s only.
What happens at the appointment
Your first appointment is a consultation, where you talk through your skin, your history and what you would like to change. You leave with a written plan covering what is recommended, what it costs and what it will not do.
On treatment day your skin is cleansed and numbing cream is applied where appropriate. The treatment itself works methodically across the agreed areas, and Raquel explains what you will feel as she goes. Plans often involve more than one session, and you are reviewed two weeks afterwards.
Aftercare basics

- Expect some redness, similar to mild sunburn, which usually settles within a short time.
- Avoid make-up for the first 24 hours and follow any skincare instructions you are given.
- Stay out of direct sun and use SPF as advised; avoid saunas, steam and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours.
- Written aftercare is provided before you leave, with a direct contact for any concerns.
